Pakistan Current Account Surplus

Latest Pakistan Political Economic News

Pakistan posted a Current Account surplus of $805 million (last: deficit $1.2 billion) for July and August FY20. This is equivalent to 1.8% of GDP.

This surplus was made in part by increased remittances, controlled imports and stable exports. Pakistan recorded a current account surplus of $297 million in August, and $508 million  in July.
