The US & Chinese Presidents discussed, electronically, matters important to both countries various regions. The meeting lasted for more than 3 hours. The US pressed for human rights, while China warned against interference in Taiwan.
Both sides are trying to keep tensions from rising and to avoid confrontation, while maintaining their positions. They also discussed North Korea, Afghanistan, Iran, global energy markets, trade and competition, climate, military issues and COVID.
