Pakistan’s FY21 C/A deficit was at a 10 Year low at $1.9 billion (last: $4.4 billion) due to higher exports and remittances helping reduce the deficit and heavy import payments increasing it. The C/A deficit was 0.6% of GDP, which is the lowest since 2021.
This level of deficit is in line with the SBP’s projection of 0.0-1%.
