UN agency supports Pakistan’s claim for Regional harmony. It was reported that Pakistan’s claim that maintaining a balance in a state’s defense capabilities improves regional peace and stability has received support from a UN committee.
Three resolutions were proposed by Pakistan to the UN General Assembly, one of which addressed conventional weapons control at the regional and sub-regional levels.
